A pensioner from Borehamwood's Kimbolton Green had £50 stolen on Friday, when a thief knocked on her door, pushed past her and then searched her house. The thief, described as a white male in his early 20s with fair hair, snatched the 75-year-old woman's purse, containing the money, and then ran off towards Arundel Drive. The woman was not hurt.
