A swimming challenge in aid of cancer charities will be held at The Venue in Borehamwood later this month.
The swimathon, from March 19 to 25, is one of many taking place up and down the country, and is an annual event sponsored by BT.
Adults and children are invited to raise sponsorship money by swimming distances of 1,500m 2,500m or 5,000m.
The allocated swimming times for the challenge are: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 7am to 9am; Saturdays, 1pm to 4pm, and Sundays, 9am to 11am and 6pm to 8.30pm.
Individuals can swim the chosen distance alone, or it can be shared between a team of between two and five members.
