TWO photographs found in a charity stall handbag are looking for their rightful owner.

The pictures were discovered in a handbag at a charity stall at High Wycombe market by Mary Gibson who sent them in to the Free Press.

In a letter to the paper she said: "They may be of great sentimental value to someone. It would be lovely if the owner could get the photographs back."

One of the photographs shows a family, possibly a mother and her four children and looks like it may have been around the 1920s or 1930s.

The mother, two girls and a boy are holding on to a pushchair with the youngest child inside. There is no indication of where the photo was taken.

The other photo shows a group of bar billiards players probably at the King George V pub, in London Road, High Wycombe, and according to the chalk board, the six players were the bar billiards 1956/57 winners of division three league championship.

The owner of the photographs may no longer live around the area but someone might recognise themselves or their friends in the pictures.
