HAYLEY Yelling has once again been selected to compete for the Great Britain team in the upcoming European Cross-Country Championships.
The Sir William Borlase's mathematics teacher was selected from the Margate International where she finished runner-up to her sister-in-law Liz Yeliing gaining an automatic place on the GB team.
Elsewhere, Jonny Brand of the Windsor Slough Eton & Hounslow Club was in flying form in the third race of the Chiltern Cross-Country League held at Milton Keynes.
Over the sandy climbs of Wooburn, the 15-year-old)improved on his previous best position in this league with a third placing, only missing out on second place by five seconds.
Carla Molinaro (also WSEH) once again put herself in contention for the overall Under 20 Female award as she ran her best race of the season to take the runners-up spot in her own age category.
