THE history of gipsy hop-picking in Kent is on display at Bromley Central Library.
The display, produced by the Romany and Traveller Family History Society, tells the story of gipsy hop-picking through the testimonies of five people with gipsy roots.
They are Jim Beaney, Mary Horner, Bill Brownlow, Beverley Cherry and the Romany Rai Cove, who have all written about the history of hopping in Kent.
Their own memories also feature in the stories told.
The exhibition is open until December 3, at Bromley Central Library, in Bromley High Street.
