MORE than 1,500 Bromley shoppers benefited from energy-saving light bulbs when the Energy Action Grants Agency (EAGA) visited Bromley High Street.
The visit was part of a national tour promoting the Government's “Warm Front” grants which are designed make homes warmer and healthier.
Bromley Council's energy maintenance unit distributed the light bulbs to passsers by to promote the new scheme.
Bromley mayor Councillor John Holbrook said: “I'm really pleased to see so many Bromley residents benefiting from this initiative which will save them money and also help protect the environment.”
