BUDDING artists have had a year of fun at a Bromley primary school.
Highfield Junior School, in Southhill Road, Shortlands, brightened up the school using visual arts.
With the help of professional artists and parents, the children made tapestries for the hall, library and piano. They painted a mural on the new classroom block, made and decorated a bench and helped paint games on to the playground.
Headteacher Peter Jones said: βIt's been a great year. The children have learnt a lot and enjoyed it.β
