TWO budding conservationists were presented with certificates last week for successfully completing a countryside management module.
John-Pierre Drezen, 37 (pictured), and David Woodcock, 30, both from Dartford, finished the module one step ahead of their fellow students, despite having learning difficulties.
The pair worked at tree clearance, dead-hedging and path maintenance over the last year in Beacon Wood Country Park, Bean.
The module also included health and safety matters and is part of Groundwork's Environment for Everyone programme which is supported by Kent County Social Services.
The two will now work towards their next accreditation.
