A family heirloom has been discovered in a bargain bin and staff at a Petts Wood charity shop are trying to trace its owner.
A visitor to the Phoenix Conservation shop, in Petts Wood Road, in April lost a gold watch which had belonged to her father. She contacted the shop shortly afterwards in great distress, but the watch had not been found.
Staff have since recovered the watch from an “all items 20p” bin and have been trying to trace the owner, with no success. The owner of the watch should call store manager Ann Kaye on 01689 839594, with a description of the watch.
