BOMB disposal soldiers from Catford have successfully completed an exercise to dispose of old munitions.
Members of the 223 Headquarters Squadron Royal Engineers, based in Bromley Road, Catford, are part of the only territorial army bomb disposal regiment.
The soldiers topped up their skills by safely disposing of out-of-date munitions at Lydd Ranges, in Kent.
Commanding officer Major Alastair Cooper said: βIt was a good opportunity for us to put our training into practice, ready for our wartime role.β
