A CASH boost of £175,000 will provide additional summer activities for youngsters in Lewisham.
The money from the Home Office will provide a range of new programmes for young people aged 12 to 19, including sports coaching, street dancing, DJing and music.
Deputy for culture Councillor Alyson McGarrigle said: “It is great news Lewisham Council has been given this money. The new programme has interesting and creative projects bound to help keep young people occupied and active during the summer.”
