A WATFORD business has scooped the Efficiency in Operation award at the transport industry's Motor Transport Awards for Excellence.
ANC Watford, part of ANC Business Services Group, a franchise-based express parcel carrier, received the honour for implementing procedures that have increased their internal efficiency, such as route consolidation and cutting down on the number of trunkers running empty.
Chief executive officer of the ANC Business Services Group, Mr Mark Gittins, said: "This is just the start. The award proves that we are on the right track and we intend to continue to build on what we have started."
