SUPPORTERS of Watford Football Club will soon be able to show their loyalty by taking out insurance from the club.
Hornets Direct is being launched the Watford FC to provide supporters, and others, with domestic insurance services.
It will be operated with broker Tangent Holdings and will aim to provide a one-stop shop for motor, home and liability insurance.
Watford supporters will receive benefits from Hornets Direct, such as discounted premium rates, short period starter starter policies for new drivers without previous insurance and season tickets covered under home contents policies against loss anywhere in the world.
Marketing services manager Mr Ian Davies said: "Together with our new financial services and home electronics sub-brands, which also come under the Home Direct umbrella, this will provide the football club with additional revenue and offer our supporters quality products with genuine benefits.
The unique community status of the club means that supporters can be assured all monies generated from this, and other commercial activities, are reinvested for the long-term benefit of our fans."
