NOMINATIONS will be accepted from next Friday for this year's Teaching Awards 2001 so, could your teacher make the grade?
Parents, colleagues, and former and current pupils are eligible to nominate the teacher they believe deserves an award.
Highlighting the vital role teachers play in people's lives, the awards include 11 categories, from Primary Teacher of the Year to Outstanding New Teacher.
Last year, Mrs Cindy Willey, headteacher of Wall Hall Nursery School in Aldenham, was recognised.
Nomination forms are available at www.teaching-awards.com. The closing date for entries is Wednesday, March 14. Every online nomination will be entered into a prize draw to win a digital camera worth £500.
