A SILENT vigil was held outside a shopping centre to highlight the need for peace in Afghanistan.
The Chiltern Peace and Justice Group stood outside Sainsbury's in Elgiva Lane, Chesham on Monday night with candles.
Di Smith, one of the organisers who lives in Chesham, said: "We want to bring the idea forward so that people can work together. We need to keep activities like these going to keep it in the forefront of people's minds. But we don't want to be badgering people."
They will be holding another vigil on November 5. If you would like more information contact them on 01494 771547.
