To the 3 million Tories who voted for New Labour and the hordes of Lib Dems who did so to keep out Conservatives, then I'll say that it serves you all right, as Mr Bust Tony and Mr Boom Billions Gordon have ended up with egg on their faces.
With house prices soaring through the roofs and the economy falling into recession only after eight weeks into their second term, it is little wonder that Mr Blair wants Mr Clarke to become the new Tory Party leader, as it will give him the assurances needed to surrender England to the Euro to save their Beacons Bacon.

Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
