COMPETITION RULES
1 Readers must collect 8 out of 12 differently numbered tokens, two of which can be differently numbered bonus tokens and answer the set question to enter.
2 A total of 12 differently numbered tokens will be printed in The Herald. Bonus tokens will be printed in the Sunday Herald on April 27 and May 4 and in The Herald on May 5.
3 Extra bonus tokens may be printed at the discretion of the Editors.
4 No purchase necessary. Readers can collect tokens and official entry forms from the reception, 200 Renfield Street, Glasgow, G2 3QB during office hours or by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the same address marked 'Marketing Dept. Italy Comp'. Only one token will be issued per person per day.
5 The competition will run for two weeks from Saturday April 26 to Saturday May 10, 2008.
6 The entry form and full terms and conditions will be published in The Herald at least once a week. Full terms and conditions will also be published on The Herald's website, http://www.theherald.co.uk.
7 Readers may enter as many times as they wish, provided each entry is made on the official entry form. However, every entry must be submitted in a separate envelope containing only one complete set of tokens.
8 No photocopies of forms or tokens will be accepted.
9 The closing date for entries will be noon on Saturday May 17, 2008.
10 The prize will be awarded to the first correct entry drawn from the assembled mail on Tuesday May 20, 2008.
11 The winner will be notified in writing within 28 days.
12 No responsibility can be accepted for entries damaged, lost or mislaid before or after delivery. Failure of an entry to be delivered by the date or in the manner specified will make the entry invalid.
13 The prize will be a one bedroom property in Fossa in Italy to the value of £30k.
14 Each Property Med will be responsible for the house purchase and for renovation works and furnishings.
15 The prize apartment will be ready for habitation approx. 6 months from the winner signing the final contracts.
16 The prize is not transferable.
17 The prize is as set out in The Herald and Sunday Herald.
18 No entrant can select an alternative prize. However, The Herald and Sunday Herald reserve the right to substitute any prize with an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
19 The winner will take ownership of the property on July 7, 2008, and will then be responsible for utility bills, council tax, council tax and rubbish collection taxes. House completion and handover will be approx. 6 months from final contract signing to allow for delay for any cause beyond the renovations companyıs reasonable control.
20 The winner's apartment will be subject to the terms and conditions of contract set out by Each Property Med who is responsible for stamp duty, legal and professional fees associated with transferring the purchase to the winner.
21 The winner will be responsible for all maintenance charges after the title of the property has been transferred to them.
22 The winner is responsible for all insurance charges after the title of the property has been transferred to them.
23 The prize includes one year's worth of free fare flights courtesy of Ryanair. It consists of twelve pair of free fare flights, excluding taxes and charges. Flight Vouchers will be issued to the winner in 2 sets with 6 pairs of free fare flights each with a travel period of 6 months.

24 The winner is responsible for their travelling costs to the property after the title of the property has been transferred to them.
25 A copy of a similar legal contract will be available for viewing at Media Centre, 200 Renfield Street, Glasgow, G2 3QB during office hours or by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the same address marked ³Contract Copy/Marketing Department².
26 Entrants must be aged 18 or over and resident in the UK.
27 The winner must accept that his/her name will be announced in The Herald and or Sunday Herald. It is a condition of entry that the winner cooperates fully for publicity purposes if so required.
28 Details of the winner may be obtained by sending an SAE to: The Herald Marketing Department, 200 Renfield Street, Glasgow G2 3QB, after the prize draw closes and the winner has been informed.
29 Employees of Newsquest (Herald & Times) and its subsidiaries, the promotional partners and their subsidiaries, associated suppliers and their families are ineligible to enter.
30 The Editorıs decision on all matter relating to the competition is final.
31 The Herald will cease to be liable under these terms and conditions upon transfer of the property to the winner.
32 This promotion may not be entered online.
