A small town in America is being engulfed by a fog. Is it a military experiment gone wrong? Has someone left the shower running? You'll have a lot of high-class B-movie fun finding out. As ever, once we see what is actually out there the picture ceases to be half as terrifying. That's where some polished performances from actors who know just how hammy to go begin to drive the film upwards and onwards. Kudos to King for another horribly good tale.
