Dir: Oliver Hodge
ARCHITECT Mike Reynolds is proud to make rubbish homes. His houses, made out of everything from old tyres to tin cans, dot the New Mexico landscape. Oliver Hodge's absorbing documentary lets Reynolds and his supporters expound, often at greater length than is necessary, on his philosophy of sustainable homes. Reynolds' houses are not on any official grid for utilities. Nor do they cost a lot. No wonder officialdom tried to make him an outcast. Probably of more interest to the Grand Designs crowd that the average semi-detached dweller, but neatly done.
