An American animated adventure about an orphan who travels to the future in search of a family, this suffers from the usual problem of too much yakking and not enough slapstick. Jokes referencing the US healthcare system - "Why is that dog wearing glasses? Because his insurance won't pay for contacts!" - might leave British nippers more confused than amused. Some whizz-bang moments, a nervy dinosaur and a bunch of Goodfellas frogs who've formed their own big band largely keep the show on the road. The real treat takes place before the movie starts, with a showing of a Mickey, Donald and Pluto caper.
