The Twilight Sad can drown you in jaw-dropping guitar feedback and sweeping white noise, but it's only when you dare to sink underneath the surface of their dazzling, deafening live performances that things get really interesting. Not only can they put on a show that will leave you stunned, but the Kilsyth indie-indebted quintet also stuff their songs with superbly melancholy melodies that have a distinctly Scottish lilt, providing enough depth to make them one of this country's must-see bands.
