Meet the Natives Channel 4, 9pm
Traditional anthropology is turned on its head as five tribesmen from Tanna travel 10,000 miles from the South Pacific to observe the natives of a strange and exotic land: Britain. Armed with video cameras and warm clothes, Chief Yapa, Albi, Posen, Joel and J J travel the UK recording their experiences of living with representatives of Britain's three quaint tribes: working class, middle class and upper crust. From KFC bargain buckets to karaoke, housework to fox-hunting, and dog parlours to stately homes, the five ambassadors witness British culture's modern rituals.
The Whistleblowers ITV1, 9pm
Created and partly written by the award-winning Tony Marchant (author of The Mark Of Cain and Recovery) and starring Richard Coyle and Indira Varma as Ben Graham and Alisha Cole.
The duo are driving home when they narrowly avoid hitting a naked, hooded man as he flees, terrified, down the road. The man is bundled violently into a car by two other men. Ben feels he cannot turn a blind eye when they discover the poor chap is being held in a house in their street. Yet when he reports it to the police, DI Bell and DS Waite don't take his concerns very seriously.

Magz has made some spiritually inclined new friends at the local vegetarian cafe. Tommy then embarrasses her in front of these new pals and she begins to question whether he's good for her or not.

Frantic TCM, 9pm Harrison Ford in the role which established him as many a woman's dream hubby - dashing around Paris looking concerned and perplexed and hunky, often clad only in M-style underwear - in Roman Polanski's breathtaking thriller involving a middle-aged American doctor's desperate search for his abducted wife. To recover her, he must navigate a puzzling web of utter Frenchness: the barriers raised by a non-English language, strange locales, laissez-faire cops and a whole empire of fill-it-out-in-triplicate bureaucrats.
He must also try not to be attracted to a mysterious and seriously sexy punk-waif in a tiny mini-skirt, Emmanuelle Seigner, who knows more than she tells about the kidnappers. Zut alors!
Apocalypse Now Film 4, 9pm
Francis Ford Coppola's Oscar-nominated epic - held by many to be the definitive examination of the American experience in the Vietnam War - centres on captain Benjamin Willard (Martin Sheen). He is sent up-river to find and kill insane renegade colonel Walter Kurtz (Marlon Brando).
Secret Diary of a Call Girl ITV2, 10pm
Doctor Who's one-time sidekick, Billie Piper, must abandon her usual tomboyish garb and assume the lacy underpinnings of a high-class London escort for her role as Belle, central figure in this adaptation of the best-selling, real-life Belle de Jour diaries. Belle enjoys being paid for her sexy rompings, but must keep it all a secret from everyone in her personal life. Even her best friend, Ben, thinks she's a night-time legal secretary.

Guilty Pleasure: A Hundred Years of Mills and Boon, Radio 4 11.30am
Comic Lucy Porter finds her heart throbbing as she turns the pages on the bodice-ripping yarns we love to ridicule but which still titillate a century after their purple prose first hit the bookstalls. Also, Old Harry's Game is back (Radio 4, 5.30pm), with Andy Hamilton as a devilishly funny Satan and Annette Crosbie as a revisionist historian employed to clean up the devil's CV.
