THE far-reaching effects of the foot and mouth crisis have hit the local football scene. Several venues due to host matches this weekend have been deemed unplayable, either by the grounds' owners or by Watford Council.
Chorleywood FC, London Colney FC, plus King George V and South Oxhey Playing Fields, are among the sites which will be out of action until further notice.
