Standard Terms & Conditions

1. Closing date for entry is as stated. No entries will be accepted after the closing date.
2. Entries must be made via the specified entry mechanic. If the entry is by completed coupon, photocopies will not be accepted.
3. Strictly one entry per reader.
4. No cash alternatives or alternative prize is available – unless stated.
5. The prize is non-transferable and must be claimed by the date stated.
6. Winner(s) will be chosen at random from all correct entries.
7. The Editor’s decision is final in all matters relating to the competition. No correspondence will be entered into.
8. Winner(s) will be notified in writing within 28 days after the closing date.
9. Promotions are open to residents of the UK and entrants may be asked to provide proof of age.
10. Employees of Newsquest and its subsidiaries and its associated suppliers and their families are ineligible to enter.
11. The Company reserves the right to substitute an alternative prize of equal value if the offered prize is not available.
12. The name and home town of the winner will be available by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the Marketing Department, Newsquest (Herald & Times) ltd, 200 Renfield Street, Glasgow, G2 3QB.
13. The winner may be required to take part in or co-operate with the Company’s publicity and accepts that their name and photograph may be used by Newsquest and/or the Promoter for promotional or publicity purposes.
14. The Company accepts no responsibility for inaccurate prize details provided by suppliers.
15. Use of false name or address may disqualify a participant from receiving a prize.
16. Proof of sending post is not proof of our receipt of your entry. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are lost, delayed or damaged.

18. Entry in the competition implies acceptance of these terms and conditions as final and binding.
