One woman's exceptional dedicated service to Macmillan Cancer Relief brought her a top award last month.
Valerie Carne, of New Malden, was presented with the President's Medal by the charity's president the Duchess of Kent, at the annual Bath rally for 10 years' exceptional service.
Nick Young, chief executive of Macmillan Cancer Relief, said: "Mrs Carne has been a member of the Malden and Coombe committee for more than 20 years. She gives a huge amount of time to the committee."
