The Suzy Lamplugh Trust is launching a safety book aimed at young travellers going abroad.
World Wise - Your Passport to Safer Travel is to be launched this April to help prevent travellers from encountering serious problems.
The book has been written by travel journalist Mark Hodson and has a forword by HRH the Prince of Wales.
Director of the trust, Diana Lamplugh, said: "Thankfully recorded cases of violence against tourists are very small. Violence is not the only danger people face when travelling. People become vulnerable when seriously ill, tired or stranded.
