IN A bad-tempered affair, Charlton-based Spartak FC failed to capitalise on their one-man advantage for much of this ACYC London League game.
Spartak took the early initiative, Dean Thomas putting the ball away after good work from James Lambert and Steven Williams. There was then a spate of bookings for both sides which resulted in a sending-off for Shaftesbury.
Spartak FC pushed their advantage but were unable to score until the award of a penalty which was converted by James Lambert.
In the second half FC Shaftesbury whittled down the lead before pressing for a final three-goal advantage.
Well Park Rangers are the current league leaders.
