A BUDDING gardener has donated a superb water feature to her school after scooping first prize in a competition.
The new four tier village pump water feature custom-made for St Josephs Primary School grounds, is worth £236.
Julia Kenny, aged 11, of Hawes Road, spied details of the competition in Water Gardening magazine given to her by school superintendent, Ernie Haddock.
Mr Haddock, who has been encouraging pupils to take an interest in gardening, said: When I heard shed won, you could have knocked me down with a feather.
