GUESTS from Northern Ireland joined members of a Sidcup Mothers' Union to celebrate its 100th birthday.
The group, at Holy Trinity Church, Lamorbey, was founded in 1901 and its original leader was Lilian Kekwich.
Past and present members were invited to the party in the church hall where a celebration cake was cut.
Among the guests were members of Holy Trinity's link branch in Straban, Northern Ireland. One member, Maureen Dunn, presented Sidcup Holy Trinity leader Doreen Pitcher with a commemorative plaque.
Last year, two stained glass roundels marking the centenary and depicting Our Lady and the Mothers' Union emblem, were consecrated in the church's Lady Chapel.
