YOUNG people's knowledge and opinions of services offered to them have been under the spotlight.
Bexley Primary Care Trust has been funding a research project to find out why more young people in Bexley and Greenwich are not using services targeted at them.
The Trust contacted 3,500 young people aged between 14 and 19, living in both boroughs.
Some youngsters said they had never heard of many of the organisations offering help and advice.
Some felt they couldn't turn to school staff, while others said schools should have a dedicated counsellor available every day.
And some said more help should be available outside school.
One of the recommendations is the creation of a central information point. A website has been set up where young people can find out about all the services. Log on to www.young-people.org
