ABOUT £1,000 worth in coins were snatched from a change machine in a bowling alley in Gravesend.

At about 5.45pm, four men walked into AMF Imperial Bowling at the Imperial Business Estate in West Mill.

While three of the men started playing on one of the games, a fourth man walked over to the change machine.

A woman employee became suspicious when she spotted the man hovering for several minutes over the change machine.

When she called her manager, all four men fled out the front door. They escaped across the car park.

Later on, about £1,000 in pound coins was found to be missing from the machine.

One of the men is white, in his early 20s, 6ft tall and clean shaven. He had a medium build and was wearing a plain, black baseball cap, blue jeans and a white quilted jacket with a black stripe down the sleeve.

The three other men are described as black and in their early 20s.

One of the men was wearing a black quilted-style jacket, dark trousers and white trousers.

Another was wearing a plain blue denim jacket baseball cap, blue jeans and a turquoise bomber jacket.

The third was wearing a black baseball cap, a black puffa jacket and blue jeans.
