PROMISING disabled athlete Julie Halls, who has just returned from the World Disabled Championships, is searching for financial support to continue her promising athletics career and keep her dream of appearing in the Para-Olympics alive.
The 27-year-old, who suffers from epilepsy, receives no financial support from the governing bodies and has to rely on her parents and donations to continue to compete.
One of these contributions came from former Watford Football Club manager Graham Taylor, who paid for a new pair of running shoes for Julie before a major competition.
Anyone interested in assisting Julie to continually compete at the top level can contact her on 01923 290419 or 07719 819639.
